Family Ministry

God created a special relationship for the purpose of preparing, educating, maturing and forming the spiritual values of children. He didn't call it a club or school or even church...he calls it family!

...We work to bless families at DG Church and in our community.

Children read more
From birth to sixth grade, we use a Bible-based approach and curriculum to teach children about our God, the special place they have in His heart and how to put their growing faith into action.

Youth read more
From seventh grade through high school, we study and practice God's word, concentrating especially on the formative choices and pressures that teens face, and establish relationships and disciplines that equip teens for a life lived in worship to our Lord.

 

It's a Family Thing!

We believe in including families, in whatever form they come, within our efforts to serve children and teens. It's called a "holistic systemic approach." In plain language, it means we understand that the spiritual development of children and youth require the support of church and home working together. We will do everything we can to support parents, communicate with them about our objectives, explain our activities and offer opportunities for parents to be involved with various activities with their children and teens. We want to be in a partnership with parents as they work in one of God's greatest missions...Raising kids of faith who know they are loved and have an eternal purpose!
