Church Family Update...

The church office is closed July 5... It is for the 4th of July holiday, but we will be back Tuesday.

THE T-SHIRTS ARE IN... we hope. At the Family news deadline, we were promised by the t-shirt place our shirts would be here by Sunday. You can pay and pick-up what you ordered immediately after worship…If all is as expected.

We hope to begin a “signing ministry” soon... Lynelle Dehlbom has been working toward offering a signing ministry for the impaired who wish to worship with us on Sunday. We plan to start slow and NOT “go public” until we are confident we can be ready to sign the entire service. Right now, Lynelle would like to hear from anyone who has any interest in participating.

New Approach to VBS in 2010... This year we will do a daytime “Bible Sports Camp” from 9am -11:30am, July 26-28. Volunteer to help today!

NEED VOLUNTEERS FOR PASSING OUT... No you are not volunteering to faint, but to pass out fliers. We plan to hand out fliers for our upcoming Bible Sports Camp on Monday, July 19. We are going to hit a lot of parking lots where family vehicles might be (like the Kroc Center). We need all the teens and adults with some free time during the day to come to the church building at 12:30pm. You can work as long as you have available. Please help.

Food Pantry Drive... We need Ramen noodles, egg noodles, chicken noodle soup, boxed pasta dinners, peanut butter, tomato sauce, tuna, Jell-O and canned fruit. Place items in the grocery cart in the lobby.

Mark Your Calendars... The Boomer’s Barbeque is July 17 and the Tweeners day at the Slates is July 31.

Camps coming up... All-teen Camp is August 8-14, and Pre-teen Camp is August 15-21. Anyone interested in any of these camps may contact the office for more information about how to complete the necessary forms.
| This Wednesday night the dgyouth group and the adults will meet together for one Wednesday night. Jeff Shelton will speak about, “Scriptures that Made the Gospel Come to Life for Me.” Please be part of this special gathering in the small auditorium at 6:30... Bring a friend. |
