Church Family Update...

• Baby Bottle Boomerang... The Open Arms Pregnancy Center of Cd’A offers compassionate support to anyone facing an unexpected pregnancy. You can help with their mission by taking a baby bottle from the foyer, filling it with loose change, and returning it before Father’s Day.

• New Church Directory Proof Ready!... Look at any of the proof copies in the lobby and use the red pen to make corrections or add info.

• Senior Saints Waffle Brunch Festival... Sat., June 19, 10am, at the home of Don & Betty Rude. See flyers on Welcome Desk for more info!

• Women of Faith Conference... Sept. 17-18 at the Spokane Arena; $89 ticket includes Friday morning session plus two lunches. Premium seats have been reserved for our group! Deposit of 1/2 ticket price is due by July 10; total amount due by August 10 to Karmen Rouse. Please call if you have questions: 208-623-4203. This year’s theme is “Imagine.”

• “Extraordinary Mercy”... There are just a few hard copies of Michael’s new book left. If you want a manuscript of the book, titled “Extraordinary Mercy”, they are $3 each or whatever you would like to give (down to $0). Just ask Michael for a copy.

• Calling All Ladies... There will be a meeting of all interested ladies on Saturday, June 19, at 9am, in the small auditorium to discuss the Ladies Fall Fellowship and other future plans for the Women’s Ministry.

• VBS 2010... Plans will be announced next Sunday for VBS. This year it will be during the day (9am to 11:30) and will be developed as a Christian Sports Camp, where kids can improve their soccer and cheerleading skills and, along the way, learn about God’s Word and the value of team relationships. It will be called “UNDEFEATED.”

• Wedding Shower for Vanessa Borsheim... There will be a bridal shower Thursday, June 3rd, at 6:30 pm, in the Teen Center, in anticipation of Vanessa’s wedding to Andrew Graves!   Vanessa is registered at Bed, Bath & Beyond, Macy’s, Wal-Mart, and Target.  See Lynn Brown for more details.

• Baby Shower for Alyson Klein... The Kleins’ new baby girl, Grace, is due to arrive in a few weeks! The shower is June 5th, 2pm, at Katrina Swaim’s house. Alyson is registered at Target, and her online registry is at Amazon.com.

• Baby Shower for Kelly Kaschmitter... to welcome Genevieve C., the soon-to-arrive daughter of Josh and Kelly! Saturday, June 5th, 4pm, at the home of Tekla Bear. Kelly is registered at Target. Please RSVP by June 1st.
