Church Family Update...

  • Teen Girls Community Group... meets this Thursday night, April 8th, at the home of Karen Rayburn! Meet in the church parking lot at 5:15pm to carpool. Call Christina Heater with any questions: 665-1537.

  • Tri-Cities Youth Rally... Tri-Cities Rally is coming May 21-23! The theme is “How Do You Plead?” and there are info packets with registration forms on the Welcome Desk. Be sure to register early to take advantage of the reduced cost! Turn in forms and fees to Katrina Swaim, or put them in her mailbox.

  • Nursery Teacher needed!... If you would be interested in teaching the Sunday morning nursery class this summer (June, July, and August) please contact Alyson Klein (405) 401-6596. Training/mentoring is available this spring for anyone interested! (If you’ll be gone occasionally during the summer, that's fine; subs are available.)

  • CCS Auction... has been moved to April 30th. Can you help? Our most immediate need is for a variety of baskets, bows, shredded paper, ribbon, and cellophane so that we can begin to assemble baskets right away! Also, please consider donating items or services to be auctioned off. Contact any CCS staff member to help! Thank you!

  • Thanks to Mary Petersen and all who helped with the Egg Hunt... It is a big job to put together this community event. Thanks to all who stuffed eggs and all who helped yesterday with the event...Maybe it will be 70 degrees next year!

  • Be in prayer for LTC and all its participants... The convention is quickly approaching on April 16-18 in Richmond, WA. Our children and teens continue to work hard. Look for opportunities to encourage them and their coaches.

  • Two new adult Bible classes begin today... Larry Slate and Ray Rayburn are teaching “Romans” in the small auditorium, and Mike Swaim is teaching in the large auditorium about the deception of Satan in a class called “Hoodwinking Adam & Eve”. “Christian Roots” continues by request. Contact Larry Grow.

  • Outreach Sunday Offering is coming May 2... Work is underway assembling the plan and budgets for the outreach activities we want to fund for the rest of 2010 and into 2011. Remember, the congregational budget is based upon 51 weeks with the one Sunday’s offering going completely for outreach projects.

  • Men’s Night Out... April 23rd, Dave Bruner’s house, 5:30pm. Bring pop and chips; the main dish is provided. Wives, kick your husbands out of the house that night... we’re going for a record attendance!

  • Jeff and Kara Shelton and family... The Sheltons arrive in 30 days! Please pray for a smooth and safe move and for the family’s transition to their new home. Good news: they have found a house in Hayden!
