Church Family Update...

  • MIQVAH... will be here before we know it, on March 19-21! One of our greatest needs is for members to host teens overnight on Friday and Saturday. There is a sign up sheet at the Welcome Desk, so please consider extending your hospitality to two, three, or more of our guests from around the Northwest. Also, you’ll find a sign up sheet for the great number of cookies and brownies which will be needed over the weekend. We appreciate any help you can give! Teens, registration forms are available on the Welcome Desk, or you can register online: www.dgchurch.org/youth.

  • Teens Mid-Winter Retreat... is scheduled for February 19-21. It’s going to be a great weekend! Sign up sheets are on the Welcome Desk. Be sure to tell Scott Rouse right away if you are going!

  • Craft Night... Ladies, bring your craft projects to the Youth Barn at 5:30pm on Friday, February 26, for a night of fun, food, and fellowship! Please bring a snack or finger food to share. Contact Jen Rude if you have any questions: 755-6409.

  • The Life 101 LIFEgroup... will be singing at Fairwinds on February 28 this month, following which they will be returning to their usual schedule, the second Sunday of each month. March 14th will be their next singing.

  • New Directory Project... We are putting together a 3-ring binder photo directory that will be easier to update. Starting today, we are encouraging everyone to get a new, up-to-date photo made! Katrina Swaim and Alyson Klein will be taking photos in the lobby right after services this morning, so stop by, sign in, and get yours taken. Also, if you haven’t already, please fill out a directory information sheet for your family and drop it in the box in the foyer.

  • No Call List... Due to a recent spate of unwanted telemarketing calls to older members of our congregation, Larry Slate has volunteered to help any Senior Saints (or others) who would like to stop receiving marketing calls to get their phone number put on the national “No Call List”. Please see Larry for details: 664-6937.

  • Just a friendly reminder... Anyone who has an event that involves use of the kitchen or the church dishes, please be sure to clean up after your event and return the kitchen and dining areas to their best condition. Not only is this kind and considerate to other members, but it will help us make a good impression on visitors, too! Thank you!
