• Involvement Ministry... is a new ministry seeking to help members get involved in LIFEgroups and ministries. Volunteers will engage with new members, mentoring them and helping them connect to other members with whom they can serve, worship, and grow in Christ! • Thanks to Kathy Taylor, Brenda Harlan, Joanna Wuest, Steve Taylor, Jen Rude, Georgette Rude... and everyone else who helped make Trunk-or-Treat a success! A lot of work goes on behind the scenes to make an event like this work, and there are a lot of challenges (like the weather). Thanks to this year’s team..They did great!

• Thanksgiving Tea, November 7, noon, at Marci Nelson’s... Ladies of all ages are invited to bring a finger food and enjoy this time of fun and fellowship!

• Be Prepared to Defend Yourself... An 8 week self-defense class for teen and adult women is meeting Mondays and Wednesdays (4-5pm) now through Dec. 16. Cost: $50. This is a special price and is well worth it for women to be better prepared for unsavory encounters. The class will be at the Hand to Hand Combat Training Center in the Prairie Shopping Center.
