The Gaining Altitude Wed. class... meets for the last time this Wednesday night at 6:30. The group will be trying to reach some conclusions about what will be recommended to the elders concerning how we describe membership at DG Church. Everyone welcome.

CCS Pancake Breakfast... Come on down to the church kitchen this Tuesday morning, Oct. 27, 6:30-8:30, for the annual CCS Pancake Breakfast! Cost: donations. All proceeds from the breakfast go to the Coeur d’Alene Christian School Scholarship Fund.

CCS Book Fair, Oct. 26-30... The book fair is in town again! Drop by the building this week, M-F, 8am-3:30pm, to check it out! Scholastic Book Fairs feature traditional children’s favorites, adult titles and new works by popular authors and illustrators.

Craft Night this Friday!... The fun begins at 5:30pm in the Youth Barn! Ladies bring a snack to share and your favorite craft project to work on.

Thanksgiving Tea, November 7, noon, at Marci Nelson’s... Ladies of all ages are invited to bring a finger food and enjoy this time of fun and fellowship!

Be Prepared to Defend Yourself... An 8 week self-defense class for teen and adult women will meet Mondays and Wednesdays (4-5pm) beginning October 26. Cost $50. This is a special price and well worth it for women to be better prepared for unsavory encounters. The class will be at the Hand to Hand Combat Training Center in the Prairie Shopping Center. Fall Festival, October 31st, 5-7pm More volunteers are needed to decorate their trunks for Trunk-or-Treat and to help run games at the Fall Festival! If you are unable to attend, please consider donating candy or small prizes; they can be dropped off this week in the office. |
