Church Family Update...

  • Trunk-or-Treat, Fall Festival October 31st... This fun family time is a safe and wholesome alternative to Halloween and is open to our community as well as to the congregation. Call Kathy Taylor at 772-2265 to reserve a space for your trunk!

  • MINISTRY FAIR, November 1... Please plan to come to the Ministry Fair and join a ministry that you are passionate about! Your special gifts are needed... Don’t miss it!

  • Check out the LIBRARY... Enjoy great books in fiction, marriage support, Bible studies, and prayer, as well as videos and CDs. It's self check-out. Just fill out the card and place it in the black box. If you have any questions, call Irene Clark at 210-323-6406 or Margie Dupey at 762-0236.

  • Family Promise... Thank you so much to all who helped with meals and overnight stays as we hosted Family Promise this week! Please continue to pray for the families in the program.

  • Eternal Threads...Thanks to everyone who purchased a bag, scarf, or jewelry from Eternal Threads at Ladies Fall Fellowship. You raised $3024 to help women across the world care for and educate their families! You can still order items anytime at the website: www.eternalthreads.com.

  • LTC Informational Meeting... Next Sunday, immediately after worship, there will be a meeting regarding LTC 2010. This is for parents, students, and anyone who is interested in finding out more. Please plan to attend this important communication event.

  • Youth and Family Minister Search Update... On October 21, the elders will begin working through the applications submitted so far. Phone interviews will follow for any promising candidates.

Trunk or Treat is a safe alternative to going out in the area neighborhoods for our children and for the children in our community.
However, for this to be successful, we are going to need a lot of people to bring their cars to the church parking lot, decorated for the occasion.
Kathy Taylor and Brenda Harlan are planning this event. Please let them know if you can help.
