Church Family Update...

  • Family Promise, October 4-11... Family Promise starts tonight! We could still use the following: a dinner provider for Monday; overnight hosts for Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday; personal toiletries for men and women; and breakfast/lunch supplies throughout the week. If you can help, please contact Christina Heater: 665-1537.

  • Trunk-or-Treat, Fall Festival October 31st... This fun family time is a safe and wholesome alternative to Halloween and is open to our community as well as to the congregation. Be thinking about how you’d like to decorate your trunk or tailgate! Contact Kathy Taylor for info.

  • MINISTRY FAIR set for November 1... As we think about revival and greater involvement, everyone will have the opportunity, immediately after worship on Nov 1st, to join in a ministry. Your special gifts are needed... Don’t miss it!

Divorce Care... Divorce Care meets on Wednesdays, 6:00-7:30pm, in the Conference Room. For info, call Nancy Callis at 772-6411 or Dale Herboldt at 818-2050.

Student News...

  • Youth and Family Minister Search Update... So far, five candidates have applied for this ministry role with our congregation. Most of them are men of experience. On October 21, the elders will begin working through the material they have submitted. Perhaps, soon thereafter, we can arrange some telephone interviews in which all can participate.

  • Keenage Banquet... The Keenage Banquet is coming up on Saturday, November 14! If you are interested in helping to plan this fun event, please contact Dan DuPey: 664-7008.

  • Cider Press Youth Rally, October 9-11... Paul Swaim will be driving the van, so register and save your seat! Call Dan DuPey for more information: 664-7008.

  • Northwest College Days, October 16-18... 10th-12th graders are invited to attend. Representatives from all the Christian colleges will be at the Southwest congregation in Tigard, OR.
