Pateros Apple Pie Festival July 18-20. As part of our effort to support congregations in the Northwest, we want to encourage the church in Pateros by taking advantage of the outreach opportunities that the annual Apple Pie Festival brings to the area. | SOMETHING NEW: Family Promise
Kaleidoscope Week... The Family Promise Ministry developed a slight snag, where there was a week in June when no church who is part of that effort could take the entire week to host homeless families... So, Kaleidoscope Week came about. Seven area churches will each take one night to host the families in our building. It is a stunning act of cooperation on something we all agree upon, helping the poor. For liability purposes, we need to provide at least one member who can stay in the building with them overnight. Contact Sylvia, Christina or the office if you can help. |
