Marriage Support... Sign ups for our Marriage
Support program are open again! Here's what some participants are
saying:
"I've enjoyed listening to how other couples have dealt with
similar situations that we face." "It gives me people to talk to and
get feedback." "We've made some close friends in our marriage group.
They really know what we're going through." “It has given us a
chance to talk about things that otherwise tend to go ignored or get
put off." "Being able to learn from couples with twenty or thirty or
more years of marriage experience is so encouraging. They've truly
seen it all!"
Whether you're just starting out as a couple or have been married
fifty years, a Marriage Support group is for you. These small
groups of four or five couples will be meeting once a month to
discuss subjects that touch our marriages. By joining this
ministry, you will not only be strengthening your own marriage, but
actively working to strengthen others'! Sign up sheets are on the
kiosk. Fill one out and drop it in Katrina Swaim's mailbox, or
contact Katrina (964-0125) for more information.

JUNE 1ST
THE DALTON GARDENS CHURCH OF CHRIST
MINISTRY FAIR |
Parents: If your 4th-6th grader
is having a hard time transitioning from Bible hour to being in service.
Here are some things to try...
- Have them fill out
the sermon outline. This will help them engage in the sermon.
- Have them read their
Bible during service. You can
never read too much!
- Have them pray for the people on the
prayer list each week!
- Have them write encouragement cards, maybe
to people on the prayer list!
- Have them read the bulletin. Are there any
volunteer opportunities for them?
Children can learn from & worship God, too. It
may just look a bit different than how you worship Him and learn from
Him! Let them try out these ways
| Welcome to a great and warm church
family. Our guests are the
most important people here today. Please know our
communion service is open to all Christians. The nursery
is located just outside the worship area. There are
special children's worship classes for those age 2 through 4th
grade that are announced during the worship assembly. |
