Days of Elijah...This morning we will sing a new song that may need an explanation. The prophets Elijah and Ezekiel spent their lives calling God’s people away from the gods of this world to the One True God, JEHOVAH. David dreamed of building a great place of worship where God’s people could encounter Him and Moses longed for the people to find God’s salvation in His law. Today the church is the New Israel...We too are surrounded by false gods of every shape and size. And like the days of old, God still calls His people to forsake false gods to worship and serve the One True God. The promised Christ has come (from Zion’s Hill of salvation). This is the day of salvation, forgiveness (Jubilee) and we need to declare God’ Word...THERE IS NO GOD LIKE JEHOVAH...THERE IS NO GOD LIKE JEHOVAH.

Collecting Wish Lists for Christmas

Praise God for the approaching Christmas season to celebrate the gift of His son! As part of the celebration, every year we wish to collect wish lists from congregation members, or for friends of our brothers and sisters, who might need help purchasing Christmas gifts for their children. In order to get this done on time, we need to start collecting wishes now! Please fill out a form found on the kiosks (the “Merry Christmas Wish List”) and return to Kim in the church office by Wednesday, Nov. 28. Everything is always kept confidential. If you have any questions please feel free to call Kristine Robinson 691-3718 or Kim in the church office, 772-0541. Merry (early) Christmas!

CCS Craft Fair... Our annual craft fair is coming up on Saturday, December 1st and we want to see you there! There are lots of wonderful opportunities for purchasing holiday gifts, and it’s a great way to kick off the holiday season. You won’t want to miss it!

Baked Goods Needed... The CCS PTO would appreciate donations of baked goods, jams, or similar items for the Bakery Booth at the craft fair. You may bring your donations to the school office on Friday, Nov. 30th, or directly to the booth on Saturday, Dec. 1st. Thank you for your support!

Welcome to a great and warm church family.  Our guests are the most important people here today.  Please know our communion service is open to all Christians.  The nursery is located just outside the worship area.  There are special children's worship classes for those age 2 through 4th grade that are announced during the worship assembly.
