Family News Headlines...

A Memorial Service... For Janet Chambers is planned for Monday, August 27, at Noon in the small auditorium. A potluck lunch will follow the service.

Ladies Fall Fellowship Meeting... August 27, at 6:30pm in the small auditorium. Ladies, please register early at the sign up table in the lobby following worship.

Marriage Support Meeting... The starting date for Marriage Support Groups is fast approaching, so please fill out a sign-up sheet from the kiosk and drop it in Katrina Swaim's mailbox, or contact Katrina (964-0125) for more information. There will be a kickoff meeting on Tuesday, August 28th, at 7:00 p.m. for everyone who is participating.

Looking for some part-time... The church is looking for someone to do yard work and other outside odd jobs for September and October (we have a riding lawnmower). Please contact Jack Cutler if you are interested.

Ladies Please Note... due to Carole Fredrikson’s back problems the Women’s Retreat that was planned for September has been postponed.

Fellowship Ministry... is looking for someone to head up the Boomers Ministry. If you would be interested please contact Tim Frahm.

Teacher Training Day... scheduled for Saturday, September 8th, 10-12 in the morning, located in the Small Auditorium. A light breakfast will be available. This is for all teachers of children’s classes. This includes all who have taught, will teach, or are interested in teaching some time in the future. Come join us for two hours of information that will improve your teaching experience. If there is something specific that you would like addressed at the meeting, please contact Allison Ford.

All parents are invited to join their children in class on Sept. 2nd to meet the new teachers and for an introduction to the new classes that will be starting on the 9th.
